Auckland's 'not the church...But damn close' are no strangers to the cabana bringing their tight and 'pretty damn close' authentic sound performing songs from Australia's 'The Church'. Auckland's radio 95bfm said 'if you've never got the chance to see the church 'live' in concert, then 'not the church...But damn close' are the next best thing, they do it so well". They are without doubt the best church tribute band in the world, and who says so? founding members from 'The Church' themselves.
