Live Nation and Endeavour Live present the third-year return of the electronic night out, CLUB FESTIVUS at Hawke's Bay’s Black Barn December 27 2024.
Dance the night away with some of the world’s best electronic dance acts, with legendary performances from SAMMY VIRJI, CC DISCO, FRANK BOOKER, MESSIE and WILLO.
The Don of UK Garage SAMMY VIRJI is back for his debut appearance at Club Festivus. The London-born artist has been responsible for some of the very finest UK garage and bass house rhythms of recent times. Over the years, there has been an abundance of household Virji tracks that hold great weight within the scene including 'Daga Da', 'Find My Way Home', 'Never Let You Go', and 'Shella Verse'. Already a household name prior to 2024, Sammy Virji has gone from strength to strength this year, releasing hit after hit and headlining every major dance festival across Europe and US tours to boot.
From rural Victoria to the world, CC:DISCO! has built her life around one guiding principle: music first. CC’s career has given her the perfect creative outlets to express her first love – be it DJing around the globe, holding down a regular radio show, or curating her acclaimed First Light compilations. Perhaps that’s the real fundamental of CC’s path as an artist – the space she creates for others. It’s reflected in the reminder she often gives after a gig: that the DJ just plays the music, and is no more or less important than the security guard, the bartender or the cleaner. It’s a humility that translates on a global scale – and you’re included too.
From Gizzy to Glasto, MESSIE is back for her debut appearance at Club Festivus. MESSIE’s electronic sound is a mix of jungle, garage, grime, house and everything inbetween, creating high-energy sets demonstrating the best of underground dance music. Her talent for reading crowds and seamlessly transitioning between different tempos and moods is unmatched, making each performance feel unique and spontaneous.
Up and coming DJ, producer and artist, WILLO is making her debut appearance at Club Festivus, introduced to Sydney’s clubbing scene in 2015 having spent time in California, this Kiwi-born artist is making moves in her craft. WILLO focuses on electronic aspects and gains influence from the underground scene, she is self-taught and found her unique sound through different ranges of house genres. Her performance extracts contagious energy and high-energy for an unforgettable experience.
FRANK BOOKER is a homegrown DJ and producer, known for his deep approach to house, disco and funk music. Blending rare groove selections with modern electronic beats, Booker has become a key figure in the underground music scene. Booker has performed at festivals worldwide, events in Europe, the U.S and Australasia. His sets create an upbeat environment as he draws music from different centuries and genres to dance along to all night! His releases have been featured on respected labels, and his music is often praised for its deep, warm grooves and infectious energy.
