Over the Top

Over the Top, a World War I play written by immensely talented local playwright, Amanda Jackson. Over the Top follows the fictional story of a teen friendship group who sign up to the NZEF, and are shipped over to Egypt and Turkey. The play explores their home lives in Napier, then the growth, transformation and fate that befalls them amidst the chaos of war. It is quaint, moving and a fantastic challenge for our actors! HaBYT has a long association with this beautiful play! We can't wait for you to see it.
