You are invited to celebrate the advent of Christmas at the Napier Tech Band’s Christmas Overture Concert, Sunday 1 December at The Salvation Army Citadel, Tait Dr, Tamatea, starting at 2pm. Tickets are $15 on the door for adults and a koha for children. Eftpos is available.
The concert not only celebrates the excitement of Christmas, with jazzy and fun versions of popular classics but also the joy of the holiday and summertime to come, with contemporary hits such as Daydream Believer and Happy, all sure to get the foot tapping.
Our concert wouldn’t be complete without a performance by our ever popular Napier Tech Junior Band. Playing alongside the Tech Band for a fun rendition of Snoopy’s Christmas, the Junior Band will also play some popular carols to get the audience singing along.
We are always keen to welcome new players to both the Napier Tech Band and the Junior Band. If you are interested in joining us, email tcuthbert@napiercentral.school.nz or go to our website www.napiertechband.org/ to find out more.
So we look forward to seeing you on the 1st December to entertain you with great music and festive cheer.
