Food lovers, this one’s for you! Join That Green Olive author Olivia Moore for a delectable afternoon at the charming Ongaonga Hall. In conversation with bestselling author Catherine Robertson, Olivia will share her journey through food photography, recipe creation, and bringing her cookbook to life. As a special treat, guests will savour a selection of mouthwatering dishes from Olivia's beautiful cookbook over a glass of bubbly - a true feast for the senses!
At 22, Olivia Moore's life has been completely immersed in food. She launched her first business at 15 - Top That! Meal Toppers, a range of gourmet, allergen-friendly crunchy and chewy toppings - finding success in the Young Enterprise Scheme. This experience led her to establish That Green Olive, a business specialising in food photography and recipe creation.
Now a full-time venture, That Green Olive has connected her with inspiring people and businesses across the food industry. Based in Taupō, she frequently travels for work and to explore New Zealand’s evolving food scene, meeting those shaping its future.
Her business has opened exciting opportunities, including photographing two cookbooks and writing and shooting her own, That Green Olive, published by Penguin Random House in September 2024. A lifelong dream realised, this milestone reflects her deep passion for food and storytelling.
Catherine Robertson is a bestselling New Zealand author, and was co-owner of Good Books in Te Aro, Wellington. In 2020, she was the CNZ/International Institute of Modern Letters Writer in Residence. Catherine is a regular guest on Jesse Mulligan’s Book Critic slot on RNZ, and is Chair of the Hawke's Bay Readers & Writers Trust and on the board of Verb Wellington. In 2024, Catherine made her debut as a romance writer, with the worldwide release of three books in her Flora Valley contemporary romantic comedy series. The latest, Kiss My Glass, was released in March of this year. She's lived full-time in Haumoana since 2021.
