CORONATION SCREENING AT THE GAIETY

Wairoa will celebrate the Coronation of His Majesty The King and Her Majesty The Queen Consort with a live streaming at the Gaiety Theatre on Saturday night.

The coronation of Charles III and his wife, Camilla, as king and queen consort of the United Kingdom and the other Commonwealth realms, is scheduled to take place on Saturday, 6 May 2023, at Westminster Abbey.

The Royal occasion will include free entry to the Gaiety with live streaming of the Coronation event on the big screen.

Doors will open at the Gaiety Theatre from 8.30pm and run until late.

Everyone is encouraged to head along to the Gaiety and join in the celebrations of the crowning of the 40th monarch.

A commemorative book for people to sign will also be available at the front desk of the Council offices this week and will be at the Gaiety Theatre on Saturday night.
